Pet Adoption Fund is a no-kill shelter that was founded in 1983 and is incorporated as a tax exempt nonprofit California charitable organization, by a small group of dedicated volunteers deeply concerned with the plight of thousands of suffering homeless animals. Pet Adoption Fund houses as many homeless animals as it can financially handle at its kennel in Canoga Park. Homeless animals are given medical care when necessary, special attention and exercise.

Pet Adoption Fund allows unwanted dogs and cats, many of which are rescued from pounds, the opportunity to bring their special brand of love and affection to a host of very special people. Simply stated, Pet Adoption Fund saves lives and places it animals in caring homes.

We currently have about 300 dogs and cats waiting to be adopted into loving homes.
